Royal Scam - A Tribute to Steely Dan

Location: Tim McLoone's Supper Club, 1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ
Doors open at 6:30pm, Show starts at 8pm

It is no secret that the music of Steely Dan is probably the most original, complex, and interesting music of our time. Since April of 1994, The Royal Scam, the world's premier Steely Dan tribute band, has been performing in some of the most respected jazz clubs, showcase rooms, and festivals, and receiving rave reviews. They have developed a following from Maine to Virginia and continue to gather new fans with each and every performance. The Royal Scam has helped to keep the compositions of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, the spirit of rock/jazz, and the enthusiasm of fine musicianship alive and well in the NY metropolitan area.

Jazz, R&B, Latin, and Pop are among the major elements which make up Steely Dan's music. All of the many musicians who work with the Royal Scam have played most of these various styles and have contributed some very memorable musical moments for the band. The Royal Scam takes pride in performing note-for-note renditions of Steely Dan's music and spends a great deal of attention to the vocals. In March of 1996, The Royal Scam was featured in a Star Ledger article dedicated to top tribute bands and has appeared on the cover of Steppin' Out Magazine. They have also appeared on The Jersey Spotlight television show and have done countless interviews for various radio stations and newspapers throughout the tri-state area. The band was also named one of the top NJ tribute bands in NJ Monthly. The Royal Scam has made appearances at the China Club, The Shell Theater at Trump Marina, The Berks Jazz Fest, Scranton Jazz Fest, Kenny's Castaways, The Bitter End, Club Bene, The Rock and Roll Cafe, Essex County Summer Concert Series, Trumpets Jazz Club, Stephen's Talk House in the Hamptons, Musikfest and a host of other venues and clubs which feature classic rock, or tribute shows. The Royal Scam show is always first-rate and professional. Come "See the glory of The Royal Scam."

Location: Tim McLoone's Supper Club, 1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ
Doors open at 6:30pm, Show starts at 8:30pm

In a short two years, the Route 80's Band has become the most popular tribute to the most decadent decade, the 80's.

NEWS FLASH: This special Memorial Day Weekend show will be historic, as you will get to hear from not one, but two of the finest lead vocalists in music today. Renee Savoy, who has been the voice of Route 80's since the beginning, will be retiring from the band after a short run of dates throughout the Summer, beginning with this special show. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE: You will also get to hear Elaine Tuttle, considered to be one of the few (with Renee) in the very top tier of New Jersey's vocalists, as she joins Route 80's as the band's new lead singer.

This is the only opportunity to see both Elaine and Renee together, on the same stage, performing all of your favorite 80's hits. As always, they will be joined by Rich Petronio on keys, James Stamatis on drums, Helena Holmes on bass and Dave Flora on guitar.

This night will sell out fast so get your tickets soon so you do not miss the biggest 80's rock/dance party of the Summer!

THE BELL BOTTOM BLUES - "The Eric Clapton Tribute Band"

Location: Tim McLoone's Supper Club, 1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ
Doors open at 6pm, Show starts at 8pm

The Bell Bottom Blues was formed in 2007 by a group of New Jersey musicians with the vision of providing an audience with a true Eric Clapton Experience. The band has been carefully constructed to create the essence of the Clapton sound, from his guitar arrangements to his distinctive vocal sound. This is what separates The Bell Bottom Blues from all others. Our audiences and fans tell us that "they close their eyes during a show and swear that they are actually at a Clapton concert." This is what we set out to achieve. Through each band member's dedication, professionalism and hard work we have captured the sound and essence of the Master himself through his various stages, from Cream and Derek & The Dominoes to his solo career. We have captured his guitar styling and more importantly his exact vocal sound, which allows us to pay authentic musical homage to this Rock and Blues Icon. There is no better satisfaction for us than watching our audience respond. Some of the nationally recognized venues that we have played are, Iridium NYC, BB Kings NYC, Havana's PA, New Hope Winery PA, Daryl's House, Infinity Theater Ct, Downtown Cabaret Ct, Grand Casino, Harahs, Empire City, Resorts and Foxwoods to name a few.
